On Love Languages Pt 2 (with special guests Aaron & Rachel Boer and Marty & Lori Mosher)

This episode furthers our discussion into love languages, this time from the perspectives of a recently married couple and a 44 year marriage. Our guests brought humor, stories, lessons, and tips for a well rounded talk on the usefulness and complexity of love languages and the help they can be in any relationship.

On Using Our Gifts and Talents

In this discussion we cover how to use our gifts for God. We talk about how we might go about recognizing and unearthing our gifts and talents and then how to use them toward a higher purpose. Brian makes a good point that no matter how "big" or "small" your talent may seem, it is integral to the Purpose nonetheless. 

On Motherhood

This episode leads us into Mother's Day weekend, so we tackle the topic of motherhood; the shift, the responsibility, the beauty, the calling. Brian interviews Darcy on her experiences and Darcy shares some thoughts on the journey thus far. We discuss Eve and Mary as biblical mothers, pointing us to our calling and showing the impact a mother can have on our life.

On Love Languages

In this episode we discuss the 5 love languages, how you can show them, and the importance of knowing yourself and knowing your significant other. We talk about how your love languages can especially come into play post-conflict, when you are reconnecting, and potentially decrease the awkward period after a fight. Do they change over time?
