Brian is back in studio (kind of) and we are discussing topics again! Season 3 is kicking off with a conversation on the Feast of the Epiphany; what it celebrates, the significance, and some borrowed thoughts from our priest’s homily.

This week is all about Christ’s love, so I reflect on both the ways I’ve felt His love this season and the ways I’m attempting to show it to others. Merry Christmas from my family to yours!

This week’s theme is Joy! I share a little about my own struggle to grow during this season of preparation and what God is showing me through that struggle. Jesus being the focus of the season has definitely made such an impact on how I’m processing things and has given me reason to rejoice in a busy, stressful season!

I give an update on advent activities thus far, the conviction/realization I had this week, and how we are enjoying the “Peace” week in anticipation of Jesus’ coming.

I give a short intro to the advent season, share some thoughts from our priest’s homily, and what our advent plans are. Starting small and giving myself permission to build. Such an exciting and busy season, but I’m going to put in the efforts to remember Christ and where our hope comes from.

There is a lot to unpack when it comes to holidays with family. So many complications and dynamics to consider with so many people involved. We discuss having perspective, and some different points of advice to consider if you're struggling to please everyone and remain a happy person this holiday season!

Well, election day is upon us, and I think we are at least all united in our anxiety. We discuss how we plan to cope with the anxieties of the next few days in a healthy way. Deep breaths, we will all be okay.

We both found all the history so interesting and hope this discussion provides some history nuggets and also helps your family enjoy it's own Halloween/fall season with some additional fun facts.
